The CBC Christmas Sing-In (free benefit concert)

Experience your favorite carols in spectacular arrangements for choir, organ, brass and percussion — with an audience of 1,500 singing along — at the 35th Annual Sing-In at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul and Bourgie Hall in Montreal.

Admission is free (doors open at 2 p.m.) and donations will be collected for the NDG Food Depot.

The evening will be recorded for broadcast accross Canada and around the world.  The CBC Christmas Sing-In will be available for streaming at as of Dec. 10, and you can tune in to the Christmas Day broadcast hosted by Ben Heppner on Dec. 25 at 9 a.m. (9:30 a.m. NT) on CBC Radio 2 and 12 p.m. (12:30 p.m. NT) on CBC Radio

Mozart & Mahler Visions Célestes

l’Orchestre Lyrique de Montréal / Montreal Lyric Orchestra

W.A. Mozart and Gustav Mahler: these two masters of vocal music will open the first season of the Montreal Lyric Orchestra on October 23 2014 at 7:30pm in Oscar Peterson Hall at Concordia University.

Aline Kutan, will perform two visions of paradise: Mozart’s exuberant Exsultate Jubilate and Mahler’s 4th Symphony in G Major.
